I am the crochet maker and designer behind Eco-Minded Stitches. I use cotton and cotton blend yarns to create items for you and your home that are Eco-Friendly.
I learned to crochet in the Summer of 2014. Needless to say, I was hooked and have been since! In the beginning, I was practicing and perfecting crochet stitches and techniques. I made quite a few things. I really enjoyed working with cotton and discovered a whole new world with it.
My family and I reside in Michigan. My husband and I have been married for 16 years. I am a work-at-home mom to our two daughters. I enjoy making and designing items for the home to support the environment.
Sharing these makes with the community is important to make the planet a better place for all. From dishcloths to mug rugs I enjoy the impact I am making in our own home and on the environment.
Besides crocheting I enjoy reading, digital planning and gardening. Bubbly water and dark chocolate are my jam! Shh…don’t tell anyone but I like peas. The beach is my happy place. I enjoy (what I refer to as happy colors) orange and yellow although purple is my number one favorite color!
A versatile eco-friendly material was my focus to create household items. Cotton has been in our homes for decades. It is a washable, pliable, and colorful piece of nature that help your daily tasks be more enjoyable.
I strive to reduce waste by doing my part creating items to help your homestead become more self sufficient.
Our household is striving to reduce waste and invest in more sustainable solutions for everyday things.
